Why a DVD

The response to our seminar; How to Make Your Practice Mercury Safe: Minimizing Occupational Exposure to Mercury in the Dental Office has been extremely positive! But we quickly realized that for this important subject, live seminars have significant limitations . . . limitations that a DVD would eliminate. It is also an excellent way to educate existing and new staff, as you bring them on board.

Seminar Limitations
For the participant, attending a live seminar means travel time, possible loss of production; along with the related travel expense, lodging and meals. Dr. Rubin and I realized that we could only put on a limited number of seminars each year, making it impossible to reach all of the dentists wanting this information.

Need for a DVD
The vast majority of dentists we spoke to felt the information we offered was far too important to wait for a seminar to be scheduled in their area. Because of this feedback we concluded that the best solution was to tape a live seminar and make it available on a DVD.

It is by far the easiest, quickest, and most cost-effective way to provide the information presented at the seminar to dentists who want to make their practices Mercury Safe as quickly as possible.

Other DVD Benefits
One of the key benefits of the DVD format is that it makes the entire seminar available to you; in a matter of days. It also allows you and your staff to view it at your leisure and to be able to refer back to it at any time.

Educating your staff is important because, once they fully grasp the philosophy of Mercury Safe Dentistry and its importance to themselves, the patient and the environment, they will be better able and willing to promote your practice within the community - and the reasons to do so. Word-of-mouth is the key to growing a Mercury Safe Practice!

Who Benefits from the DVD

Dentists Whose Office aren't Mercury Free or Mercury Safe

The DVD is perfect for dental offices that are neither Mercury Free nor Mercury Safe. Becoming Mercury Free is simply a matter of choice; stop placing amalgam fillings and that is all there is to it. However, becoming Mercury Safe involves more than just not using amalgam and the DVD will provide you with all the information necessary to become a Mercury Safe Dental Practice.

Dentists Who are Mercury Free but Not Mercury Safe

Some dentists have already taken the first step toward having fully compliant Mercury Safe Practices. But being Mercury Free is not enough! Our DVD guides you through the process of implementing the equipment, products and removal protocols necessary to make your practice both Mercury Free and Mercury Safe.

Dentists Who Try to be Mercury Safe but Aren't Sure

We have spoken to hundreds of dentists who want to be Mercury Safe, but aren't sure they are doing everything that is needed. The common response was that they didn't know where to access this critical information.

In fact, more than 50% of those attending our seminar signed up because they weren't sure that they were Mercury Safe. We discovered that they were all Mercury Safe to some degree but not completely. Some were Mercury Safe in regard to protecting the patient but not for themselves and their staff. Others found they weren't adequately protecting their patients. And so on.

This DVD will put it all together for you, from one source, and allow you to make certain you are a fully compliant Mercury Safe office. When it comes to the legal issues related to occupational exposure to mercury, knowing you've done all you can to protect yourself, your staff, your patients and the environment will give you peace of mind. In addition, we know you'll find the segment on Promoting Your Mercury Safe Practice is, on its own, worth the cost of the DVD.

Note: Seminar on Hold
Because of the many advantages of the DVD over the seminar, we are currently not scheduling any further seminars at this time.
